How You Can Help
If you are interested in supporting the Albyn Foundation, there are many different ways to do so.
- Option 1 – For a one-off contribution, large or small, this can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Simply complete the Gift-Form and send it to the School, marked ‘confidential’ with your cheque. Cheques are to be made out to The Albyn Foundation.
- Option 2 – We can set up a standing order. Please refer to the Gift Form attached above which provides the necessary details to set up the standing order of your choice. Once arranged, please submit the form to the School as described above.
- Option 3 – Those wishing to make a major donation are invited to contact the Headmaster or Development Team for more details or alternatively submit the Gift Form and await an immediate response.
- Option 4 – A legacy bequest is a most effective way of boosting the investments needed to underpin our fees assistance scheme. Legacies are exempt from inheritance tax and are deducted from the value of your estate before the calculation of tax liability. Although professional financial and legal advice is a prerequisite, you are encouraged to contact the Bursar or Development Team to discuss available options.
Attendance at School Events
Different events are organised by the School to raise funds for the Albyn Foundation. Many of these events are pupil run and are a great chance for our pupils to show you their many talents from music to academics to sports. Entrance to these events will often come with an entrance fee that will go towards the Foundation. You will have the opportunity to not only attend these fundraising events but to also take part if you wish. We would love to see you there!
If you would like to inspire our pupils with their future career paths, we would love you to come into the School and share your experience. Our pupils have aims and aspirations in many different career paths and who better to talk to them than those who are in these industries and can provide them with a helpful insight. We have previously welcomed current parents, former pupils and people in different businesses in Aberdeen who have offered our pupils invaluable advice and guidance.
