Hello!

Welcome to our Boarding House Virtual Tour!

We offer full-time, flexi and weekly boarding for pupils aged 12-18.

We have a small boarding house just a 5 minute walk from Albyn School. This three storey victorian house offers accommodation for 8 boarders in either shared or individual rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. There is a large conservatory with a large seating area, a dining table where our boarders eat, study and get together to take part in fun activities in the evenings and weekends. There is a smaller living room with a flatscreen TV with Netflix and video games consoles for the boarders to relax with. With a large kitchen with a traditional Aga, our boarders can experiment with their own meals or eat meals that are provided by our boarding house chef – don’t worry if your child isn’t a dab hand in the kitchen – all meals are provided for them! There is also a smaller kitchen for those who are keen cooks! The house also has it’s own garden where our boarders can relax, play sports and spend time with friends.

Our boarding house is very different to others you might find in other schools, rather than a dormatory style house, ours is very unique and every room is completely different and the boarders have the freedom to really make their rooms their own. We want our boarders to see this house as a real home-from-home.

As you will find out in the video below, our boarders lead a completely normal life. They have the freedom to play sports, take part in activities and see their friends in the evenings and weekends – age depending.

On this tour, you will meet Miss Joanna Thomas, Boarding Housemistress and Joe T, Head of House.
