ICT is taught by the Head of ICT as part of the curriculum to all pupils in years Lower 5 to Upper 2. The course covers essential ICT practical skills and knowledge areas as follows:
As far as possible, practical ICT work will also coordinate with individual subject areas. All pupils will be issued with a password and email account. Please note that all pupils using computers are required to sign the “Use of the Internet” agreement.
Pupils have the opportunity to opt for ‘Information Systems’ at Intermediate 2 and Higher Level.

Upper 6 pupils have the opportunity to study for the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) qualification. This is the first pan-European Union qualification in personal computing skills. It is increasingly recognized by Universities and employers globally, as it shows that whoever completes the course is a competent user of computers.
The ECDL offers a structured course containing 7 units in personal computing skills. These are:
