Every year, during the Summer term, Upper School classes are suspended for a week to give pupils the chance to participate in a wide range of different learning experiences.
Whether it is enjoying French culture on the Opal Coast or getting wet at the National Watersports Centre at Cumbrae, experiencing the delights of staying in a Youth Hostel in Edinburgh or participating in one of the many activities based in and around Aberdeen, the week provides an opportunity for numerous new experiences.
No matter where they have been or what they have been involved in, pupils return having tried new things, mixed with different people, acquired new skills. Valuable lessons which cannot be learnt within the confines of a classroom alone.
