Supporting Albyn

The Albyn 150 Appeal

Albyn School has always given meaningful and proactive help to parents of able children who cannot otherwise afford our fees, but in these difficult financial times we are determined to do even more.

The challenge we have embraced is to achieve, by our 150th anniversary in 2017, a much greater level of free or discounted Upper School places. This involves increasing the number of fees assistance awards (otherwise known as bursaries) from 12 to 50 and well as increasing their average value.

Over the same time period, we also seek to attract dedicated investments of at least £2 million to guarantee future bursaries at these, or even higher levels.

We are mindful that parents of pupils already in the Lower or Upper School might also need help in exceptional financial circumstances. Accordingly, an optional element of the Albyn 150 Appeal is an increase in our Hardship Fund, which ensures that critically affected pupils can finish their time at Albyn.
