Teacher of Technology
Required for August 2010
We are seeking to appoint a talented and dynamic teacher to introduce the study of technology into Albyn’s Upper School.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the subject at the School. While this will initially be a part-time post, it may be combined with another subject to become full-time. Applicants who are seeking a full-time position are asked to state what other subject, sport or activity they could offer.

Albyn School is a long-established independent school of 540 pupils from 5 to 18 with nurseries for children aged 2-5. Our examination results are amongst the best in Scotland. In 2006 our Higher results achieved the best pass-rate (97%) Scotland while last summer the School attained the best Higher results in Aberdeen. We like to think that we have a welcoming atmosphere where the sense of shared values and community is very strong.

We currently pay a salary that will be in line with the SNCT scale according to qualifications and experience.
