ASPA Organisation and Aims
Albyn School Parents’ Association (ASPA) is the official body representing parents of Albyn pupils. Every parent with a child at any level of Albyn School is automatically a member of ASPA, at no cost. Through this membership they can benefit from the activities of ASPA. In practice ASPA is run by a Committee comprising the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and the Class Reps. A separate sub-committee for the annual ASPA Ball is also convened. Alongside the Board of Governors, the Former Pupils’ Club, and the staff and pupils of the School itself, ASPA completes the “Albyn Family”.

Class Reps
Every class is represented on the committee by a class Mum/Dad who has been chosen to represent the class on their behalf. The role of the class rep is to attend the ASPA committee meetings, to bring matters from parents to the meetings and to provide feedback to the parents about the outcome of the meetings.

In 2008 we also held a very successful Fashion Show incorporating pupils and staff.
As you can imagine these take a great deal of preparation and hard work requiring help from many volunteers, not just the committee, so every helper is appreciated. We do it for fun and to raise funds for the school.
Use of Funds
We have in the past been able to raise a fantastic amount of money for both the school and various charities within the community and will continue to do so with your support. Past use of funds have included:
