There will be a talk on Italian wine followed by wine tasting and a buffet supper (lasagne, salad, garlic bread) held in the Forum, 4 Skene Terrace, Aberdeen on Thursday 17 September at 7.30 for a 7.45 start. Tickets cost £16.50.
The Bridge Evening (in library) and Quiz night (in hall) are taking place on Thursday 12 November. For both events we need teams of 4. Bridge players should bring their cards and quiz players should start swotting now! There will be prizes for the best and worst teams. The evening will start 7.00 for 7.30. Teams should provide their own picnic supper, wine and glasses for half time. Tea and coffee will be provided. Tickets cost £20 per team for both events.
If dancing is more your thing then a Ceilidh supper evening is being held in the hall on Friday 26 February 2010, with music provided by ‘Danse Macabre’, the well-known all girl Ceilidh band. There will be a supper of stovies, oatcakes, beetroot and tea/coffee. There will also be a vegetarian option. Please take your own wine, soft drinks and glasses. The AGM and At Home takes place on Tuesday 16 March 2010. The AGM will be held in the library, followed by the AGM in the hall. The cost is £15 per head.
