A number of Lower School pupils at Albyn School have taken part in the recent Aberdeen Music Festival held on the 12 June 2009. Adam Auchie, a Lower 4 pupil took first place in the under 11 sections and solo piano section. Ngoni Masiyakurima and Daniel Michie, a Lower 4 and Lower 3 pupil took first place in their sections. Findlay Douglas, a Lower 7 pupil won both of his classes with the Sopranino recorder.
Additionally, a number of Lower 4 and Lower 5 pupils have been selected for the National Youth Choir of Scotland: Jo Littlewood, Stephanie Walker and Zoe Walker.
This is a fantastic achievement from our Lower School pupils. Well done!
