Northern Lights Are Shining Brightly In The Local Business Ccommunity!

Northern Lights, one of Albyn’s Young Enterprise companies, has recently negotiated two orders for their unique Hot Water Bottles and covers.

The covers for the Hot Water Bottles have been made from redundant white Albyn sports sweatshirts and the Northern Lights team are delighted that they have been able to re-purpose the fabric for their product. The small size retails at £5.00 and the large 2 litre size at £7.50. The company also recycles the packaging from the Hot water Bottles reflecting their dedication to becoming a “green” business.

Northern Lights negotiated an order for 10 Hot Water Bottles with the Gordon Highlanders Museum shop in Aberdeen which has recently undergone renovation. The covers use the Gordon tartan and are unique to the Museum shop.

Today the company has completed an order of 6 small Hot Water Bottles and covers and 6 large Hot Water Bottles and covers for Anderson and Spence in Aberdeen. Brooke and Claudia (U6 pupils) were involved in the negotiations for this order and the Hot Water Bottles were delivered within 5 days!
