Albyn Pupils Triumph at Science Awards
Lower 4 pupils at Albyn School have triumphed in the National Science and Engineering Week School activities, arranged by the British Science Association in collaboration with the University of Aberdeen. The pupils had to design and build a giraffe which had to be tall and stable- not an easy task.
The winning giraffe measured 59 cm high, was made from newspaper and only had sticky tape to hold the various bits together. The winning pupils were Hannah Blackabey, Catherine MacFarlane and Chelsea Wong.
Well done to all pupils for their enthusiasm.
The University’s Science Colleges offer a mix of workshops geared towards inspiring onward science study at university.
