Chris Anderson Medal Success

Catriona McGregor (UV) who earlier this year was pre-selected for the Junior Commonwealth Games in India this autumn, has been continuing her run of success. In the recent Scottish Pistol Championships she actually achieved the Commonwealth Games qualification score for 2010 and is therefore likely to be in the full Scottish team for that event! In the Junior Final she won the silver medal, only losing to a Norwegian. Her score would have got her into the finals for Senior Men, Junior Men, and Senior Women! She also won the B Class and finished 3rd in the aggregated competition.

On Friday 18 April her achievements were recognised at the prestigious Aberdeen Sports Awards, where she was awarded a silver Chris Anderson Medal. A fine achievement on the back of such a meteoric rise.
