Welcome To Albyn School
Albyn School is an independent, co-educational school with approximately 690 pupils aged 2-18 located in the west end of Aberdeen.
The School has an excellent academic reputation with small classes, well motivated pupils and dedicated teachers who have all contributed to impressive examination results that have helped pupils into their universities of first choice. But examination success is not the be all and end all at Albyn for the journey is as important as the destination. We encourage pupils to take part in the diverse range of extra curricular activities available so they can enjoy their education in its richness and variety. As a School we maintain a strong sense of community and are proud of what our pupils achieve.
In looking both at the successes of the past and promise of the future, Albyn School is soon to embark on a major new development to enhance its buildings. This will involve renovating our library, re-modelling some of our Victorian buildings, bringing together the nurseries onto one site, adding new state of the art laboratories and the creation of a new classroom block. Collectively, these will equip a traditional School with twenty first century facilities and broaden the range of subjects that can be taught at Albyn.
